 Happy birthday to me!!! 

Πέρσι, τέτοια μέρα, ήμουν κουλουριασμένη, παγωμένη και αποστεωμένη  σαράντα δυο κιλά πάνω σε δυο καναπέδες σε ένα βρώμικο δωμάτιο σε κρατητήριο της Αυγύπτου. Χωρίς φαί, χωρίς νερό, χωρίς οποιανδήποτε επικοινωνία με κανένα, παρατημένη πρώτα από την Πρεσβεία και απ´όλους. Άρρωστη, ένιωθα τόσο κρύο, ήμουνα τόσο απελπισμένα φοβισμένη και απεγνωσμένα ήθελα την μαμά μου να την ακούσω, έστω και από το τηλέφωνο. Δεν θα ξεχάσω ποτέ τον αστυνομικό που με βοήθησε να της κάνω το πολυπόθητο τηλεφώνημα τον έχω πάντα στην καρδιά μου.

Φέτος είμαι ελεύθερη, δυνατή, άπιαστη, κανείς δεν με λυγίζει, κανείς δεν με σταματάει, πετάω ελεύθερη γιατί αγαπώ εμένα, την Τίνα, όλοι σας αγαπήστε τον εαυτό σας, μόνο έτσι θα είστε ευτυχισμένοι. Τίνα Λιασή

Last year on this day I was coiled, cold, anorexic at 42kg on two armchairs in a dirty room in Egypt. Without food, without water, I was abandoned from the embassy, without any communication with my family. I was ill, desperately scared and I wanted to hear my mums voice, even on the phone. I will never forget the policeman that helped me make that phone call, I have him in my heart. 

This year I am free , strong, unstoppable, no one can break me, no one can stop me, I am free because I love me, Tina, you should love yourselves, the only way to be truly happy. Tina Liasi
